  • 6 slices bacon
  • 1 tablespoon Land O Lakes® Butter
  • 5 (4- to 5-ounce) boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 small (1/2 cup) onion, finely chopped
  • 2 teaspoons finely chopped fresh garlic
  • 1/8 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
  • 1/2 cup chopped parsley
  • 1/2 cup shredded Cheddar cheese

How to make

Heat oven to 350°F. Cook bacon in a 12-inch skillet over medium-high heat, turning occasionally, for 4-6 minutes or until crisp. Crumble bacon; set aside.


Add butter to the same skillet. Place chicken breasts in the skillet. Cook over medium-high heat, turning once, for 6-10 minutes, or until chicken is no longer pink. Remove from skillet; place into ungreased 11×7-inch baking dish.


Place onion and garlic in the same skillet. Cook over medium-high heat for 1-2 minutes or until the onion is softened. Stir in bacon.


Spoon onion mixture over chicken breasts; sprinkle with pepper. Top with parsley and cheese. Bake for 10-15 minutes or until cheese is melted.
